senior portraits // makenzie | miamisburg, oh senior portrait photographer

“This night is sparkling, don’t you let it go…all I know is that it was enchanting to meet you.”
– Taylor Swift

Without knowing why, the above lyrics pretty much describe the bubbly, sparkling and full of life Makenzie. She is sweet and full of energy. She is encouraging and outgoing.

It was a breeze to photograph her. The expressions in her photos were not forced, but natural. Makenzie’s laugh is classic, her smile is brilliant and her eyes are striking. The lighting was absolutely perfect and the scenery was gorgeous. It was a flawless shoot.

The complete pleasure to work with this young lady was amazing and enchanting and sparkling.

“Put thou thy trust in God

In duty’s path go on

Fix on His word thy steadfast eye

So shall thy work be done.”
Martin Luther

Firm and unwavering in purpose, loyalty, or resolve—that is steadfast Lizzie.  Among the boiling pressure of others to be what she is not and believe things that she cannot, there is not even a shadow of change in heart or alter in mind. Lizzie is settled, determined and faithful. Her heart is brimming, no, spilling over in love and compassion. The kindnesses that she demonstrates come directly from sincerity. She is authenticity.

Every moment spent with this woman enriches the spirit.  Just being with Lizzie stirs the inner-self to reach farther and be stronger when faced with times of seemingly impossibilities.

From the Midwest all the way to the West Coast, this California girl’s life is impacting many hearts for good.

Lizzie is fixed on Jesus, in love with Mike and a brilliant cook.

She is a true, genuine friend.

travel // adventure to washington, district of columbia

Precious Abby, the history queen, and sweet Caroline, like no other that I know—a true, hard-core patriot. The level of excitement that these two displayed was priceless; being eyewitnesses to American history and experiencing first-hand what they have only read in books and seen in pictures is an unparalleled, home-grown, proud to be an American kind of amazement. There are no other humans that I would have rather of toured the District of Columbia with than them.

From the initial adventure of riding the metro, exploring the capital, eating bbq chicken pizza, hopping in-and-out of museums and touring monuments, the three of us had an unforgettable time in the Nation's capital.

It is impossible to come away from this type of adventure without a grateful heart for freedom and a humbleness, realizing that it is an extreme blessing to be a citizen of the United States of America. Walking through the city, liberty's songs fill your soul:

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand,
Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation;
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
